Michael D. Schoenfeldt is a husband, father, brother, and son who enjoys numerous activities and interests, including supporting Kansas City sports teams.
Kansas City’s Major League Soccer (MLS) team, Sporting KC, began playing in 1995 as the Kansas City Wizards. The current team is in the Western Conference of the MLS and has won two MLS Cups and four US Open Cups.
In May 2022, Sporting KC signed Spencer Glass at the left back defensive position. The team signed Glass on a short-term loan. The 24-year-old was a defender on Sporting KC II (SKC II), the reserve team that plays in the US’ second-tier soccer league.
Glass began his professional soccer career in the 2022 spring season after finishing 5 years as a standout player at Indiana University. During college, Glass appeared in 93 games and had 11 goals and 24 assists, which was quite a feat for a defensive player. His first appearance with Sporting KC was against FC Dallas in the 2022 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
